Overview
Safari Drive & Dive's flagship expedition combines world-class shark diving across three Mozambican hotspots and Aliwal Shoal with a full-day Big Five safari in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi. This is the expedition that has it all.

Marine Life Encountered
Marine life encounters are subject to seasonal availability. Our guides maximise every opportunity for unforgettable sightings.
Day by Day
Transfer from Vilanculos Airport to Morrungulo Lodge. Check-in, welcome drinks on the ocean deck.
Double-tank morning dives (6:45 AM start). Tiger shark dives and leopard shark encounters. Snacks, soup and herb bread served between dives.
Breakfast then 2.5-hour road journey to Tofo Beach.
Double-tank morning dives. Surface intervals used for whale shark spotting and snorkelling. Vibrant town to explore in evenings.
4:00 AM departure for 10-hour drive to Ponta do Ouro. Packed breakfast and snack stops included.
Pinnacles shark site dives. Breakfast from 5:30–6:30 AM. Optional third dive available at extra cost.
Drive straight to St Lucia. Check-in. Sunset hippo cruise on the St Lucia Estuary.
5:00 AM departure for full-day Big Five game drive in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi. Return to St Lucia.
Morning half-day iSimangaliso Wetland Park tour. Drive to Aliwal Shoal — arrive approximately 5:00 PM.
Baited dives. Summer season (Nov–May) diving with a range of shark species.
Transfer to King Shaka International Airport.
